About the Financial Award

Established in 2021, the UOB Kay Hian China Internship & Training Grant is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It seeks to allow undergraduates to be exposed to the Chinese Financial Markets and equip them with greater cultural awareness and technical capabilities to excel in the new economic realities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates* in their third and fourth year of undergraduate studies in the year of award
  • Enrolled in any degree programme with declared major in Finance
  • Any nationality (priority consideration for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents)
  • Priority consideration for students fluent in Business Mandarin

* Also considers postgraduate students from Master of Science in Quantitative Finance, Applied Finance, and Management.

The Grant will only be given if there are candidates of sufficient merit to qualify.

Tenure and Benefits

$7,500 (to cover internship-related expenses)
