About the Donor

The SMU Southeast Asia Exchange Award, established by alumnus Tee Yock Siong (BBM & BSc(Econ), 2006), is targeted at full-time undergraduates from Southeast Asian universities seeking a semester-long exchange programme to SMU. By defraying the costs of the student's stay in Singapore, the Award aims to enable Southeast Asian undergraduates to fully experience an SMU quality of education for that semester.
Alumnus Tee Yock Siong believes that, like him, these inbound exchange students from Southeast Asia will have an enriching, compelling, and unforgettable experience at SMU, and that upon return to their home countries, the students will share their positive experience at SMU, thus amplifying SMU's standing and reputation in the region.
