GIC Internship. I had a rewarding internship experience because I had the opportunity to work on real-world projects that allowed me to apply skills learned in school. Projects were meaningful and had a significant impact because I assisted in automating some of the processes, and the team could feel the manual workload that they used to do on a regular basis being offloaded from them.

Name your favourite class/mod at SMU.

Financial Analytics – As an individual in information systems who is interested in the finance industry, this module assisted me in understanding how I can apply my analytical skills to the finance industry.

A fun fact about SMU

Starry night is an event at SMU that I look forward to because it is a night where friends gather to grab a drink and relax before the final push for finals.
