CONGRATULATIONS TO SMU’S KIMBERLY LIM FOR CLINCHING GOLD FOR SAILING AT THE 18TH ASIAN GAMES

Twenty-two year old Kimberly Lim (Accountancy undergraduate), and her sailing partner Cecilia Low has secured sailing’s first gold in the women’s 49erFX at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang.

The brilliant performance at the Asian Games will give the pair a confidence boost as they look forward to qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 at the 49er World Championships next year.

Kimberly is currently granted Leave of Absence to concentrate on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics bid and is based in Portugal for training.
