Important Information for International Students

Student's Pass Application

All international students must apply for a Student’s Pass (STP) with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA). Students on Dependent’s Pass or Immigration Exemption Order are not required to apply for Student Pass, but they must submit a copy of their Dependent Pass / exemption order to the SMU admissions office at admissions@smu.edu.sg

It is recommended to submit the Student’s Pass (STP) application as soon as you receive the application details from SMU. A guide on how to apply for Student’s Pass (STP) with Singapore immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) can be found here.
