Financial Aid Finder

Established in 2019 by an anonymous donor, The Journey Grant is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at providing financial assistance to financially-challenged and deserving undergraduates, as well as motivating them to achieve academic excellence.

The LKY-STEP Award is to encourage lifelong learning and will be offered to outstanding polytechnic graduates pursuing full-time undergraduate degree programmes at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) or Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

Established in 2015, The Silent Minority Bursary aims to motivate needy Singaporean minority undergraduates at the Singapore Management University to achieve academic excellence despite their constraints.

Established in 2013, the Thio Kok Foe and Choo Kim Beng Bursary Grant aims to provide financial assistance to full-time Singaporean undergraduates at the Singapore Management University and to motivate them to achieve all-round excellence.

Established in 2014, the Thomson Shin Min Foundation Bursary aims to provide financial assistance to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University and to motivate them to achieve all-round excellence.

Established in 2012 and funded from the proceeds of an endowed sum received from collective donors in memory of the late Dr Toh Chin Chye, the Toh Chin Chye Bursary aims to provide financial assistance to full-time undergraduate students at the Singapore Management University who would have otherwise been deprived of a university education due to difficult family financial circumstances.

Established in 2017, the Tan Soon Kwee Endowed Grant aims to provide financial assistance to financially-challenged full-time Singaporean undergraduates from the School of Economics at the Singapore Management University.

Established in 2022, the Vertical Institute Study Award is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It aims to provide assistance to financially needy undergraduates at the University, to aspire for greater heights of excellence in spite of adversity and financial hardship.

Established in 2024, the objective of the Wee Kim Wee Scholarship is to support bright freshmen enrolled in the College of Integrative Studies at the Singapore Management University with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

Established in 2023, the Winning International Group Care Study Award is available to full-time Singaporean undergraduates from School of Accountancy at the Singapore Management University.  The objective of the Study Award is to provide equal access to education and encourage full-time first-year undergraduate students enrolled at the School of Accountancy at the University to aspire for academic excellence in spite of adversity and financial hardship.

Established in 2015, the objective of the Worldwide Hotels-Choo Chong Ngen Bursary (formerly known as Hotel 81-Choo Chong Ngen Bursary) is to benefit financially needy Singaporean undergraduates enrolled in any full-time degree programme at SMU – so as to ensure that deserving students can achieve academic excellence and complete their university education, regardless of their ethnicity and means and without financial obstacles.

Established in 2010, the Yangzheng Foundation Bursary (formerly known as Yeung Ching Foundation Bursary) aims to provide equal access to higher education at Singapore Management University through financial assistance to full-time undergraduate students in need.

Established in 2022, the Yap Xin Horng Study Award is available to full-time undergraduates from the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at the Singapore Management University.  It is aimed at providing assistance to financially needy undergraduates who also have a robust and active student life at the University.

Being SMU’s first full sports scholarship, the Yip Pin Xiu Scholarship is designed to honour excellence in sports and the values that SMU alumna, Yip Pin Xiu stands for. Besides Pin Xiu’s impeccable sports achievements, she has demonstrated hard work, dedication, resilience at the highest levels, humility and leadership, both in and out of the classroom.
