The Journey Grant
Established in 2019 by an anonymous donor, The Journey Grant is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at providing financial assistance to financially-challenged and deserving undergraduates, as well as motivating them to achieve academic excellence.
The Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to Encourage Upgrading (LKY-STEP) Award
The LKY-STEP Award is to encourage lifelong learning and will be offered to outstanding polytechnic graduates pursuing full-time undergraduate degree programmes at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) or Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

It aims to provide assistance to financially needy undergraduates at the University, to aspire for greater heights of excellence in spite of adversity and financial hardship.
Wee Kim Wee Scholarship
Established in 2024, the objective of the Wee Kim Wee Scholarship is to support bright freshmen enrolled in the College of Integrative Studies at the Singapore Management University with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.
Winning International Group Study Award
Established in 2023, the Winning International Group Care Study Award is available to full-time Singaporean undergraduates from School of Accountancy at the Singapore Management University. The objective of the Study Award is to provide equal access to education and encourage full-time first-year undergraduate students enrolled at the School of Accountancy at the University to aspire for academic excellence in spite of adversity and financial hardship.
Worldwide Hotels-Choo Chong Ngen Bursary
Established in 2015, the objective of the Worldwide Hotels-Choo Chong Ngen Bursary (formerly known as Hotel 81-Choo Chong Ngen Bursary) is to benefit financially needy Singaporean undergraduates enrolled in any full-time degree programme at SMU – so as to ensure that deserving students can achieve academic excellence and complete their university education, regardless of their ethnicity and means and without financial obstacles.
