Established in 2023 in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the School of Social Sciences (SOSS) at the Singapore Management University, the SOSS Study Award is available to full-time undergraduates from SOSS.  It aims to motivate financially needy undergraduates to achieve academic excellence and foster passion for the social sciences.

Established in 2020, the Stanley Yap & Karen Wang Student Relief Grant is a one-off emergency financial grant to support full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University who are in need of immediate financial assistance due to unforeseen crisis (resulting in financial hardship), while their families seek for long-term solutions to meet their financial needs.

Established in 2021, the Steve Tay Endowed Scholarship is available to full-time Singaporean undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. The objective is to assist financially needy undergraduates to achieve academic excellence. 

Established in 2014, this scholarship is made possible from the proceeds of an endowed donation from prominent Indonesian businessman and philanthropist Dato’ Sri Prof. DR. Tahir, founder of the Mayapada Group. One scholarship will be awarded each year to a full-time undergraduate of Indonesian nationality.

Established in 2011, the Tan Joo Kee Study Award aims to provide financial assistance and to motivate full-time undergraduates in any degree programme at the Singapore Management University to achieve all-round excellence.

Established in 2017, the Tan Soon Kwee Endowed Grant aims to provide financial assistance to financially-challenged full-time Singaporean undergraduates from the School of Social sciences at the Singapore Management University.

Established in 2000 by the late Professor Tan Teck Meng, the Tan Tee Chee & Tsan Kah Ngooh Excellence in Student Life Silver Award is given annually to outstanding students at the Singapore Management University who have demonstrated excellence in co-curricular activities.

Established in 2021, the Tannang Bursary is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed to encourage bright Malaysian undergraduates to aspire for greater heights of excellence in spite of adversity and financial hardship.

The scholarship is part of the Tanoto Foundation’s BEACON programme, which aims to holistically develop the generation of leaders as future-ready global citizens who meaningfully contribute to their communities and countries. The programme comprises structured leadership development training, opportunities for experiential learning, networking and community service, in addition to tuition grants via the scholarship.

The Temasek Foundation Union Scholarships were established in honour of three eminent union leaders, Mr G Muthukumarasamy, Mr Nachiappan RK Sinniah, and Mr Nithiah Nandan s/o Arumugam who tirelessly championed for the welfare of lower-income workers and advocated for access to certified training and skills upgrading. Established in 2024, the Teresita Sy-Coson Innovation Internship Grant is available to full-time undergraduates (including Filipino undergraduates) at the Singapore Management University.  It seeks to provide support to undergraduates pursuing internship opportunities with startups or innovation hubs in the Philippines, enabling them to experience a prudent lifestyle in the Philippines.

Funded by an endowed contribution by Mr Timothy Chia, a member of SMU Board of Trustees, the Charlie Chia Cheng Guan Scholarship was established in 2011 with the aim to motivate full-time undergraduate students at the Singapore Management University to achieving greater heights of excellence.

The scholarship has been renamed The Charlie & Janet Chia Scholarship commencing Academic Year 2014-15.
