SMU Warriors Bursary
SMU Work-Study Grant
The SMU Work-Study Grant (WSG) Scheme offers undergraduate students with financial need a chance to earn some income by working at the University, supported through the Grant, while learning useful skills in the process. It is one of the work activities approved under the SMU Work on Campus Scheme to train full-time students in real-life work conditions through on-campus work opportunities.
SMU-School of Social Sciences Scholarship
The SMU-School of Social Sciences Scholarship is available to undergraduate students from the School of Social Sciences at the Singapore Management University. The Scholarship is funded from contributions from faculty and staff and its fundraising activities.
SMU-SIS Bursary Fund
Established in 2019 by an anonymous donor, the SMU-SIS Bursary Fund is available to full-time undergraduates from the School of Computing and Information Systems at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at providing financial assistance to financially-challenged and deserving undergraduates, as well as motivating them to achieve academic excellence.

Established in 2022, The SMU-X Opportunity Award is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It aims to subsidise travel expenses of students enrolled in an SMU-XO course with an overseas travel component.

Established in 2007, the SMUSA Student Life Award seeks to recognise and support students who embraced a holistic and well-balanced education by venturing beyond academic studies and actively involving themselves in community work, CCAs or entrepreneurial pursuits.
SOSS Study Award
Established in 2023 in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the School of Social Sciences (SOSS) at the Singapore Management University, the SOSS Study Award is available to full-time undergraduates from SOSS. It aims to motivate financially needy undergraduates to achieve academic excellence and foster passion for the social sciences.
ST Telemedia Awards
Established in 2025, the objective of the Awards is to motivate the University’s exceptional undergraduate students‘ talents at the University’s School of Computing and Information Systems and spur them to greater heights of academic excellence. It will provide appropriate recognition to the top students in the following tracks/courses offered in the School of Computing and Information Systems.
Standard Chartered Best First Year Business Student Award
Supported by Standard Chartered Bank, the Standard Chartered Best First Year Business Student Award is given annually to the most outstanding first year Bachelor of Business Management student at the Singapore Management University.
Stanley Yap & Karen Wang Student Relief Grant
Established in 2020, the Stanley Yap & Karen Wang Student Relief Grant is a one-off emergency financial grant to support full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University who are in need of immediate financial assistance due to unforeseen crisis (resulting in financial hardship), while their families seek for long-term solutions to meet their financial needs.

Established in 2017 through collective donations towards the Subhas Anandan Legacy Fund, the Subhas Anandan Bursary provides financial assistance to full-time undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law at the Singapore Management University and to spur them to greater heights of excellence.

Established in 2019, the Synpulse Outstanding All Rounder (SOAR) Award aims to encourage fulltime undergraduates from the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) at the Singapore Management University to strive for and achieve academic and leadership excellence.
Tahir Indonesian Scholarship
Established in 2014, this scholarship is made possible from the proceeds of an endowed donation from prominent Indonesian businessman and philanthropist Dato’ Sri Prof. DR. Tahir, founder of the Mayapada Group. One scholarship will be awarded each year to a full-time undergraduate of Indonesian nationality.
